During a candle massage, which is performed on the entire body, the therapist lights a candle and then pours the appropriate amount of oil onto the body. The dissolved oil has a safe, pleasant temperature (not hot) and does not dry on the skin. It is silky and spreads smoothly on the body. The therapist uses relaxation massage techniques, and the pleasant scent and warmth increase the therapeutic and relaxing effects of this extraordinary ceremony.
