Platelet-rich plasma

Platelet-rich plasma is a preparation obtained from the patient’s own blood. It is a concentration of the patient’s own platelets in a relatively small volume of plasma. Sometimes referred to as a “vampire lift”, it has proven properties of beneficial biostimulation of skin cells, including fibroblasts for the production of new collagen and elastin fibres and the formation of a network of new blood vessels in the skin. After treatment with platelet-rich plasma, skin quality improves. Platelet-rich plasma improves blood supply to the face and evens out skin tone. The remodelling and regeneration of collagen fibres improves skin firmness, density and hydration and evens out shallow wrinkles.

The therapy is recommended for anyone experiencing signs of skin ageing. It is especially worth opting for when the skin becomes flabby, dry, tired and lacking in elasticity or when discolouration, wrinkles and folds appear.
