Platelet-rich plasma is a preparation obtained from the patient’s own blood. It is a concentrated suspension of your own platelets in a relatively small volume of plasma. Sometimes referred to as “vampire lifting”, it has proven properties of beneficial biostimulation of skin cells, including fibroblasts for the production of new collagen and elastin fibers and the creation of a network of new blood vessels in the skin. After the treatment with platelet-rich plasma, the quality of the skin improves. Platelet-rich plasma improves blood supply to the facial skin and evens out its tone.
