How to prepare?

Due to the elevated temperature during the class, the body sweats intensively.

We recommend:

• natural clothing (cotton or linen shorts/leggings and a T-shirt),
• a large bottle of water,
• one towel.

Potential benefits of practicing Hot Yoga in Ganbanyoku:

• the elevated temperature helps warm up muscles and fascia, which may support greater range of motion during practice,
• heat supports the dilation of blood vessels, which is associated with improved circulation and better tissue oxygenation,
• practicing in warmth may help stimulate metabolism and the body’s regenerative processes,
• increased sweating may support the body’s natural detoxification processes,
• contact with the heated surface may help reduce muscle tension, especially in the back, hips, and shoulders,
• the elevated temperature supports lymphatic circulation and the body’s natural physiological cleansing processes,
• the combination of movement, heat, and mindful breathing promotes relaxation and helps calm the nervous system,
• for many people, practicing in these conditions provides a sense of regeneration and lightness after the class.

What does the Class look like?

Under the guidance of experienced instructor Alex, participants move through a smooth sequence of asanas combined with mindful breathing. The practice strengthens, stretches, and stabilizes the body, while the final relaxation phase on warm stones allows you to enter a state of deep relaxation.

The class lasts 50 minutes and is suitable for both beginners and more advanced participants – the intensity can be adjusted to individual abilities.
